OBS camp!

hello just came back from OBS camp!

OBS = Outward Bound School
quoted from the instructors there, the short duration of 4 days of OBS camp was just a preparation for your future outward bounds. (:

travelled to Punggol Jetty from school & waited & waited & waited......

we got randomly grouped, that's why it was not according to classes.
our cohort was splited into watch groups, 3 groups at campsite1 and all the other groups were at campsite2!
my group/watch name was DA GAMA ;D
[reminds me of KODOMO the toothpaste brand XD]
got a super handsome instructor imported from HongKong named Jonathan! =P

only knew the girls in my group cuz i have never ever seen most of the boys in my group before!
felt miserable then.
but as the days passed by, there were interactions and i started to like my group more :D

1st day
it seemed like a super short day.
did some falling activities to make us gain trust in each other :)
YiJun was the Day-I.C.
Rachel and me were the Food-I.Cs.
bathed, cooked dinner and pitched tents.
then it was ZzZ time.

2nd day
woke up at 5am
backached cuz i slept on rocks and there were lots of noise distractions throughout the whole night.
unpitched the tents and did some running and stretching.
Charissa was the Day-I.C. and held our dearest small YIYING teddy bear with her. XD
paired with Da Gama's watch buddy, Hillary to do the Flying Fox.
it was quite fun, not really as thrilling as i thought out to be x(
then it was our Land Expedition
we had to navigate around carrying some super heavy backpacks while finding the checkpoints and finally hiked to the 3rd campsite.
dipped into a super nice fresh clearwater Quarry!!
totally LOVED it :D
i seriously dont mind to have a Quarry as my bathtub at home =P
pitched tents in the rain & cooked dinner in the dark
-.-
cant get anymore suay-er
then went off to dreamland.

3rd day
"Da Gama and blah blah blah quickly unpitch your tents"
those were the words that woke me up
it was 6.22am when we were supposed to assemble at 6.30am
got super alot of sandfly bites T.T
it was funny how our whole group woke up together and quickly got our stuffs done.
we Kayak-ed on a Tri-Yak on the route such that we would go one big half round along PulauUbin's borders.
paired with Daryl and HongWaan! :D
LOL! capsizing & pee-ing in the sea is a big NO-NO.
fun fun fun~
hehehe! i got my head wrapped up like some auntie
had a "facial mask" made of sunblock, so funny ;D
hahaha then finally made it back to campsite2 and carried kayaks back to place.
Hazel is one nice person (:
unpack unpack unpack
bathed thoroughly, cooked a sumptuous dinner and slept super well
wheeeee~

4th day
woke up at 5.47am
unpitched tents and prepared everything as fast we we could.
went for JettyJump!
the way Robert jumped into the sea was hilarious XD
it wasnt as scary as i thought out to be
at least now i think i'd dare to dive in the swimming pool diving thingy already :D
then packed packed packed more
then it was time to say goodbye already :(
i love Da Gama watch group!
